Who is Wayturn?
Wayturn Hung (洪偉騰) is a backend engineer in Taiwan focused on applied AI and enterprise modernization. A guide to the core projects, evidence, and current limits.
Applied AI backend engineering
Backend engineering is the foundation: clear contracts, observable behavior, and careful changes to systems people rely on. My current focus connects enterprise modernization with applied AI workflows and developer tooling that can be inspected and evaluated.
What I am working on
I am responsible for technical discovery and proof-of-concept planning for legacy backend modernization. The work starts from existing behavior and focuses on behavior preservation, compatibility, and verification. AI-assisted understanding supports discovery; the case remains an abstract work in progress.
Personal projects
DevAgent is a small Python CLI experiment that traces an AI-assisted development workflow. Jev Context Pruner tests model-assisted conversation pruning within deterministic safeguards, full-original fallback, traces, and evidence-based evaluation. Supporting projects explore cloud-hosted research, grouping social posts into topics, and an application workflow around GPT-SoVITS.
Why this site exists
I want each project record to make its purpose, current status, evidence, and limits understandable. A separate AI Visibility Lab records how search systems identify and retrieve the public work; its historical baseline does not establish that a website change caused an improvement.
How to find me
The GitHub profile linked below contains the public repositories referenced by this site. The About page includes my existing LinkedIn and email contact details. Wayturn, Wayturn Hung, 洪偉騰, and Bruce Hung refer to the same person here.
To take forward
This is a personal engineering site: a place to document work, make its boundaries clear, and compare notes with other developers.
